Evian and Virgil Abloh have teased their forthcoming collaborative effort as part of their ongoing “Sustainable Innovation Design” initiative. The water bottle company, which has committed to becoming a circular brand by 2025, teased a new glass bottle on its Instagram.
Additionally, Evian shared a similarly mysterious teaser for the SOMA 3.0 bottle which will also join their roster of collaborative bottles.
And the collaborations don’t stop there. In an unexpected reveal, Vetements took to Instagram to unveil a special edition, co-branded selection of recycled plastic bottles. The post encouraged followers to go to the Evian website to learn more about plastic recycling.
Evian is preparing to make its plastic bottles from 100 percent recycled plastic by 2025, adopting a “circular approach” to plastic usage. To do so the company is calling for collaborations across industries to achieve a large-scale change in the way the industry makes, uses and reuses plastics.
